My dog has sores on paws, ears, legs. Is it inbreeding, allergies, or mites?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered

We rescued a puppy from a man that was inbreeding his dogs. His the only one that survived. He is about 3 years old.. but nw my baby has sores all under his paws. Im assuming its the eczema. It doesn't stop him from playing or anything but it looks really painful. He also has eczema in both his ears. And now its spreading up his legs. Could this be the because of inbreeding? ( mother and puppy) and is there anything we can apply to it? We've tried multiple creams , it doesn't seem to work

I would be more concerned with allergies or some type of mite. Without pictures or seeing Butch in person it is hard to definitively say what it could be. If Butch is itchy both allergies and mites could be a possibility. I would recommend having a veterinarian skin scrape him and look for mites. I would then recommend treatment since mites can be difficult to find. The treatment usually involves monthly medication (a type of flea/tick prevention) for about 2-3 months. Then there are great options for allergies like daily medication (apoquel) or monthly injections (cytopoint). Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
