Help! My 11-year-old Maltese keeps peeing indoors. What can I do?

How do I get my 11 yr old Maltese to stop urinating in the house as we have tried everything! My other Maltese was easy to train. Help

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The easiest way is by using the pads and the training spray which makes them identify where they should urinate. I usually recommend that at the beginning you start by adding pads in just one place in the house so that they get used to urinating in only one spot. This usually works very well. Positive reinforcement is of course also important so giving her treats when she does go in the pad is very important so that she associates going in the pad with something positive. Good luck!
