My Chihuahua ate hot dogs and has an upset stomach. Is he okay?

I am very concerned for this little guy. I'm watching over my neighbors' Chihuahuas while they are out of town for the new year. They cut up some hot dogs to give as treats for each visit, but I think they gave the little guy an upset stomach. I want to make sure he will be OK.

I'm sorry to hear that Rocky is not feeling well. Hot dogs can be upsetting to the stomach, especially when the pet is not accustomed to getting them on a regular basis. I would stop giving the hot dogs and choose something different such as his regular kibble or even a small amount of plain boiled chicken. Your question doesn't say what symptoms he's having, but common symptoms of upset stomach are vomiting, diarrhea and decreased appetite. If the symptoms continue despite stopping the hot dogs, I would recommend taking him to the veterinarian to make sure it's not something more serious. I hope this helps and that Rocky feels better soon!
