Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 3 years and 11 months old
Hi, my cat was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia. He was born with it, but only detected when he was 2 years old after a routine checkup about his enlarged pupil. He’s an indoor cat, well loved and on s strick diet inc immune tablets daily. Yesterday it started and he has gone from a playful cat to sleepy, behavior issue and lack of energy. I have seen similar symptoms before but he bounced back. This time he’s much slower. Do I keep an eye on him for a few days or take him into the vet. Worried!

What a handsome kitty Chai is! I'm sorry to hear that he is not acting like his usual self. If he is acting unusually tired, but still eating and drinking his normal amount, urinating and defecating normally, then I think it is OK for you to watch him for a couple of days to see if he gets over it. If the lethargy continues or you see other signs of illness develop such as poor appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, drinking excessive amounts of water, then I would recommend taking him to see your veterinarian. I hope that Chai feels better very soon!
