My puppy hit a wall and is limping. Should I get a second vet opinion?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 7 days old | 17.4 lbs

My pit pup 4mths he slid hard into a wall in the house playing now hes limping . he sits on it at an angle i think part of his hip dislocated is this possible at such a young age? His vet said pups bones are soft and didnt do an xray . u can tell something out of place .

Hi! Thanks for entrusting us with Phat boy's care today! Lameness can be a sign of a few things that range from a muscle sprain to even a fracture. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian so that this can be further assessed which will likely include radiographs. Treatment will be dependent on findings though at the very least pain control medications can be prescribed. You could perhaps check with another veterinarian for another examination. Good luck!
