My pet mouse has liquid yellow poop. Is it diarrhea? What can I do?

It sounds like a gastrointestinal infection, the hunched back is probably due to abdominal pain. i advice you to take her to the vet ASAP in order to have the stools checked (take a sample with you to the vet), she will probably need a course of deworming and antibiotics.

If he is improving and eating and drinking normally and still has energy, then I think you could watch him tonight. If he is still having loose stools tomorrow, then I would definitely get him checked tomorrow as I don’t want him to become dehydrated. Watch him closely. A veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Bacterial and/or parasitic enteritis are very common. Hamsters have very sensitive intestinal tracts so a veterinarian with companion exotic mammal experience is important in order to provide the correct antibiotic. Offering Pedialyte through a syringe, then wettened rodent pellets for calories. Diarrhea in rodents has many causes including bacteria and parasites. A visit to the veterinarian would be a better chance at least to perform a fecal exam for parasites. Store purchased products have a poorer prognosis for recovery that veterinary products and after a targeted diagnosis. Good luck.

Unless you have been feeding Peach a large amount of green-colored food, green coloration usually indicates a large amount of bile released in the intestines, and this can indicate a disease process. A common diarrheal disease of Gerbils is called Tyzzer's disease, and it can cause fatal dehydration if not treated. I'm glad to hear that Peach is still eating, drinking, and acting normal, but if the diarrhea continues or if his attitude changes, I strongly suggest taking him to the vet as he may require antibiotic treatment and fluid replacement therapy. This condition may also be contagious, so keep a close eye on the other gerbils for similar symptoms. Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! The abnormal stool can still be from inflammation from the diet change. He is also young so parasites are still possible. I would drop off a stool sample at your Vet. The picture you provided looks pretty normal to me. You can try a probiotics, I like Purina Fortiflora which you can find online. I would hold off on giving him any human anti-diarrheal medications. I hope this helps and I wish you and Pete the best!
