My kitten has diarrhea. Can I still train her to eat on a schedule?

I want to train my kitten to eat on a schedule 7am/pm but she is currently sick with diarrhea and we can't go to the vet yet. I provide her w fresh water all day but can I still train her even though she's sick? She's used to eating small meals throughout the day but she hardly ever finishes all her food. She eats Whiskas junior and I'm supposed to be feeding her at least 2 pouches a day but she only eats 1. I want her to eat 1 pouch in the am and 1 in the pm. She drinks a lot of water. Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 5 days old

You can still train her to eat twice a day regardless of the diarrhea. She may not want to eat as much because of the diarrhea right now. I wouldn't press the issue. Just get her to the vet as soon as you can. The most common cause of diarrhea in kittens is internal parasites so she likely needs to be dewormed to get that diarrhea to resolve. Hope this helps.
