My budgie was squished, but seems okay. Should I still be concerned?

My budgie was sitting on my brothers shoulder today when someone went to hug him. The person's hand landed on top of the bird, squishing him a bit. Afterwards, he seemed to be okay, flying around like normal, not seeming to be in any pain. However, he seemed to be squished pretty hard so should I still be concerned? Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male | unneutered

Oh no! Poor Tuco! So sorry this happened. Luckily, it sounds like he is just fine. So glad he is flying around and acting normal. My recommendation is to just monitor him closely for the next 24 hours. If she starts showing any signs of injury or illness then I would get him to an avian vet right away. If he was squished that hard I would suspect he would already be showing some signs if he was truly injured. Hope this helps. Best wishes!
