Hazel tested positive for Campylobacterosis E. coli. What’s the treatment for that ? She has had giardia and she parasite free. Could there be a connection with both. 2 to 3 months she gets runs just at 2 am in the morning with mucus foul smelling. Any idea please Thanyou you guys rock ❤️

Hazel is adorable! Antibiotics are the treatment of choice for campylobaacter in dogs. Did your vet not prescribe any? It is not really a treatment for it but it will reduce the shedding of the bacteria from her. This article will explain more: https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/campylobacter-infection-in-dogs I would suggest two things: 1. Probiotic. I think Fortiflora is the best. One packet on her food daily. I would treat her for one month minimum (one box = 30 days). Do not use human probiotics or dairy products. http://www.allivet.com/p-1130-purina-pro-plan-veterinary-diets-fortiflora-dog-supplement-box-of-30.aspx 2. Immume system booster: https://www.chewy.com/dr-harveys-e-mune-boost-herbal-dog/dp/121670 Hope this helps. Best wishes and Happy New Year!
