Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Male | neutered | 10 years and 3 months old | 7.5 lbs
I just noticed a very small red bump on the head of my cat. He is a 10 year old Siamese, and seems to be pain/itch free. He is exclusively indoors, as is our other cat. If it helps, the other cat has had a wart (diagnosed by our vet) under her fur for many years. Is this something that I should just watch, or what do you suggest?

From the picture it looks like it may be a scab. I would watch for the next few days and see if it goes away. If it is not resolving then I would encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I wouldn't get too worried about it if it is the only spot. It could be from a scab or tick that fell off or a site of trauma (bumped or rubbed his head). I would leave it be and keep an eye on it. If it gets bigger or doesn't resolve in 2-4 weeks I'd have your Vet take a look, Have a good weekend!

This could have been a tick bite or a pimple that Mirchi scratched. If it does not expand, or starts to itch, I would not worry about it. If it expands, or more lesions like this appear you should have it examined by a veterinarian.
