Growths that rupture can be caused by many different things including infection, cancer, and benign skin changes (like cysts). Without more of a description or doing a physical examination on Guero it's very difficult to say what could be causing the issue. If you post a picture we may be able to help you with more information. However, it's likely Guero will need to have an appointment with a veterinarian to truly determine what is going on with his skin.
