My dog's eye is half-closed and sunken after being hit. Is it serious?

I accidentally hit my dog in the eye when playing with him and now he keeps it half way open and shut and almost feels like it has sunken in compared to the other eye I’m pretty worried and don’t know what to do plz help. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | neutered | 3 years old | 180 lbs

Eye injuries are considered emergencies. I suggest you get Leo to a vet for an examination as soon as possible. The longer you wait to seek treatment, the more likely he is to have permanent damage and/or lose vision. I would get him to a vet ASAP. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
