What is this white, pus-like spot on my dog's skin near his ear?

There’s a white spot looks like pus on my dogs skin right below his ear. I don’t know what it is but it kind of looks like a pimple. Do you have a idea? Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | neutered | 35 lbs

This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign.
