My dog has kidney disease, is she able to have pentosan injections for her arthritis? Thank you.

Pentosan is not metabolized by the kidneys, so there should not be any need to change the dosage or discontinue it with kidney disease. I have used it in many dogs and cats with kidney disease without any problems, but be sure to check with your veterinarian to make sure Daisy doesn't have any other reason to discontinue or change her dosing of Pentosan. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
