Help ! I have a 6 yr old labradoodle to whom we have introduced to kittens his attitude to us has remained faithful but I’m not sure I’m handling his introduction correctly . I’m keeping him on a lead when he is around them at other times he is separated with me being in the same room as him I’m feeling that I’m keeping him excluded but time out is needed it’s only been 1 week I feel it’s been years am I doing it correctly

If Buster is friendly to the kittens and not showing aggression, he may want to nurture and play with them. You can try him off a lead with the kittens to see how he reacts, if there no problems and he is gentle then you can let them interact and be around each other. If he is playing too rough then correct him and make him settle down or remove him for 5-10 minutes and let him try again.
