Pregnant cat drooling while sleeping: Is this normal or a vet concern?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 2 months old | 6.61 lbs

My pet zinnie is pregnant of approx 1 and half month She is totally fine, but sailiva is flowing from her mouth while she sleeps or she is sitting steady! We are worried! Its everything okay?

Poor Zinnie! She could be a little nauseous or have a painful tooth or something else going on in her mouth. Since she is pregnant, I would have your vet take a look at her. Your vet will be able to determine what might be causing the hypersalivation. Your vet will be able to get her started on the best meds (if needed) that are safe for her and the kittens. If it is a tooth issue and she is still eating, the vet will likely recommend to wait until she has the kittens before removing any teeth since we don’t want to expose The kittens to anesthesia if possible.
