Can cherry eye in a 2-week-old chihuahua puppy heal naturally?

I have a 2 week old chihuahua that looks like may have cherry eye. Can it correct itself?

2 weeks is very young to know just how severe the cherry eye may become. It's hard to give you specific advice without seeing a picture, but generally if you can see the membrane poking out I would go to the vet asap to have it checked. Sometimes it is simply protruding due to a treatable infection, or if it will be a case of surgery, the vet can prescribe lubricant and antiinflammatory drops to keep it comfortable until surgery is possible.
