Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Louis evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid he is likely becoming dehydrated. They would be able to check for these possibilities and also check his hydration status and give him medications to make him feel better. Good luck!

Just like people, there are many conditions that can make pets vomit. This could range from bacterial over growth to intestinal blockage. Also like us, diseases are best addressed early and this may result in a better prognosis. I recommend to have him examined by the veterinarian today since he is continuously vomiting. The doctor will need to learn the underlying cause in order to give appropriate treatment. Bring in a stool sample in case the doctor needs to test it. I hope Nike starts feeling better quickly! Please feel free to post any additional questions.

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. If he has been vomiting for several days, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine him and test him for Parvo. He may have eaten something and now it is stuck in his intestinal tract causing an obstruction or may have dietary indiscretion from something he ate. If he is otherwise energetic, eating food and drinking water and you are unable to get to the vet right away or this weekend, I would initiate a bland diet as outlined below. If he continues to vomit and worsen, I would recommend getting him seen by a vet sooner rather than later. If he is able to destroy his current toys and swallow pieces whole, I would take them away and get him a different chew toy like the Kong toys. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Poor pup! Yes, if he's been vomiting since yesterday and is not eating or drinking, I would definitely recommend taking him to the vet today. Your veterinarian can examine him and may recommend blood work, x-rays, or other testing to help diagnose the problem and see what kind of treatment is needed.
