What's this bump under my dog's ear causing one-sided drooling?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shorthaired Pointer (duplicate) | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 50 lbs

hi, my dog develop a big bump under his ear on the right hand side of the skull. is this an abscess? he is salivating abundantly of the right side of the mouth. no hot nose or lack of appetite after two weeks. vets we've see are puzzled.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! After being able to see the pictures, the possibilities that I mentioned before are all still true. Also, I would be concerned that it could be something called a sialocele which is essentially an accumulation of salivary fluid. Also, it could be an enlarged lymph node secondary to an infectious condition or even cancer. The recommended test remains the same. It is a fine needle aspirate to be submitted to a reference laboratory for cytologic analysis. This can help clarify all the things that I have discussed. Good luck!
