My 7 month old Golden Retriever has suddenly started to drool excessively. He seems to be eating and drinking normally. What are possible causes?

Hello, this could be associated with ingestion of any caustic chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide. Teething can also cause this although by 7month old he should have he adult teeth, however each dog may differ in timing. Having something stuck in his mouth can also cause this. The salivation could also be a sign that he is feeling nausea and may want to vomit. Monitor him for persistent hyper salivation, vomiting, a decreased appetite or lethargy and have him evaluated by a veterinarian if he develops any of these. Hope this helps and best of luck.
