My dog's bump is leaking pus. Should it still be removed and biopsied?

Hi. I have written in a couple of times about this bump on my dog, and we are set to have it removed and biopsied tomkrrow but it had looked like it has started to leak a little pus or serum out and then crusted over. One vet said sebaceous cyst. I saw this morning it looked like this. Do you think it is still necessary for us to have it removed and biopsied? Or does it look like a cyst that can be left alone?

Even if it is a cyst, I would still have it removed since it is draining. They typically will continue to drain and be annoying more than anything so it is worth having it removed to not have to worry about any further issues with it
