Why does my dog's vomit smell like poop after eating new wet food?

My dogs vomit smells like feces. She has only vomited the once and is otherwise acting normally. I gave her some wet food this morning which she has never had before. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 5 years and 10 months old | 55 lbs

It may have been the food since she has never had it before. For some it is too rich and upsets their stomach. I would not worry about the odor. If it continues to happen then I would get her seen by a vet to make sure she does not get dehydrated. You can try boiled chicken and rice to help her stomach calm down before returning to her normal food
