My cat is coughing, burping, and wheezing. What's causing it?

My cat is coughing or burping or something along those lines and wheezes sometimes. Pet's info: Cat | Bombay | Male | neutered | 16 lbs

This could be due to several different things like allergies, acid reflux, hair balls, an upper respiratory, heart disease and more.you could try Benadryl twice a day as long as he is still eating and acting normally. See link below. If he seems in distress then I would take him to your local emergency clinic ASAP. Otherwise, if the Benadryl doesn’t help or he gets worse, I would have your vet take a look at him. Your vet will be able to listen to his heart and lungs, do blood work or even X-rays if needed. Your vet will be able to get him started on th proper meds to help him feel better.
