Why is my dog suddenly lethargic, not eating, and has pink skin?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 75 lbs

My dog hasn't been acting his self today. I ain't sure what's wrong with him but he's been laying around and not playful like he usually is. Real moppy not hardly eating, he's drinking water not as much as he usually does but he's drinking some, his skin under his fir is pinkish. What could possibly be wrong with him? My cell number is 812-390-8956 if you need to contact me

I'm sorry Duke isn't feeling well. His symptoms (lethargy, decreased appetite, and slightly pink color) could be caused by a wide range of uses ranging from allergies, to endocrine disease, to serious metabolic issues. If his problems persist for more than 24 hours or if he's suddenly much worse, I would recommend taking him to an emergency room for evaluation. Best of luck to you and Duke
