Why did my puppy's skin bumps return after meds? Is it allergies?

Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 20 days old | 60 lbs

My son Baby Groot has had theses lumps for a while now...I went to the vet here near my home and after paying 400.00 something odd dollars, after I pay for his meds and all, she says "let us know if this don't work". Like I have 400$ to jus spend, well anyways I gave him his meds and it's been about 2 1/2 weeks since his last dose and he breaking out AGAIN. I don't know what to do someone PLEASE HELP ME. ITS THE SAME BUMPS AS THE LAST TIME. IM SCARED AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO TO HELP MY YOUNGIN

If the medications helped and it came back after 2-3 weeks of stopping the treatment, it is probably an allergy, this means he will probably need to take those medications long term at least until the cause of the allergy is detected. this could be a food allergy, environmental allergies or flea allergy, this is the hard part- to discover what is the cause.
