My dog has mastitis. Is Clavamox safe for her nursing puppies?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 11 months old | 8 lbs

My dog shows symptoms of mastitis and her pups are under two weeks and ear to be healthy I have clavamox 62.5 twice daily for 7 days...will this harm her pups?

That antibiotic is safe for nursing puppies. Try to express that particular mammary gland that has the mastitis and try to get the puppies to nurse on the other nipples. If she isn’t improving, be sure to have your vet take a look at her. I hope she feels better soon!
