Why did my dog vomit and shake after eating Kong peanut butter?

Hi, I gave my dog a bit of kong peunut butter for dogs as a treat, she was eating it for a good 6 minutes and then threw up, fell on her side and started shaking. The shaking has now stopped and the throwing up, buy she's a bit slow. I always give her kong, but is it possible this has happened from the peanut butter? Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | spayed | 4 lbs

I bet that really scared you and I hope Coco continues to recover. I don't think its related to the peanut butter as this is a pet product. I would be most suspicious that Coco had a seizure or had a heart abnormality. I would take her in today to see the vet for an exam, EKG and bloodwork. This may diagnose the cause of the episode. Treatment will depend on the cause. I hope this helps!
