Female rabbits fighting. How to stop dominance without desexing?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | spayed | 1.5 lbs

My rabbit fluffy is showing dominance over my other rabbit bun bun and bun bun finds it quite annoying ( they are sisters) and they act like they don't want to be sisters. I don't really want to desex them yet

Unfortunately, it seems like they are not bonding well. This happens even amongst siblings. Desexing is a good thing to do, but should not be expected to help them get along. I wish I had a good remedy for this problem, but these are tricky scenarios and sometimes they have to be separated. For more information about bonding rabbits, I recommend you read the information at the link below. http://www.rabbit.org/journal/4-4/tough-bonding.html I hope that helps and the bunnies eventually get along.
