Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | spayed | 12 years and 5 months old | 28 lbs
My Beagle ate a lot of treats last night (I changed where I was keeping them stored and she found a way to get into them while I was out of the house). Her stomach doesn't appear to be incredibly bloated, and her stool is normal, but she has puked a couple of times, small amounts with little solid content and with a rusty tinge. I'm not sure if it's blood or if it'd just red dye from one of the treats she got into (christmas cookie treat, had red frosting). Should I take her to the vet?

If she is bright and alert and willing to eat i recommend feeding small, bland low fat meals and offering pedialyte and also fresh water to reduce the risk of developing dehydration. If she is restless and reluctant to eat she should be assessed by a vet. Obstructions, impactions and pancreatitis are all relatively common after breaking into the treat jar!
