My cat's vaccinations are overdue. When should I renew them?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 11 lbs

I had my cat vaccinated over a year ago. He is about 1 year and 6 months old now. Should I renew his shots or wait? He stays indoors most of the time but he likes to go outside every now and then. I also have another cat who is sick and I believe has an inner ear infection, however, I’m not sure. Please help.

You should keep him up to date with his vaccination, meaning he will need to be vaccinated once a year. once you skip a year of vaccination you will then need to restart the kitten vaccination course from the beginning, to avoid that you need to vaccinate Calvin once a year.
