My dog's black lump is growing and bleeding. Should I worry?

My dog has a black mole on his back which has got bigger in a few months and it’s bleeding now

Its still possible that the mass is benign but with the change in size and now the irritation, I would recommend to have it checked out. The doctor may recommend to aspirate it or may just want to remove it. Make sure to keep it clean and make sure that Jake is not able to scratch at it. I hope this helps!

    If the mass is changing size, shape or color it needs to be evaluated by a veterinarian. They can assess if it should be removed. There is no way to know if it is benign or malignant without an exam and possible biopsy.
