My dog is lethargic, salivating, won't drink. Vet emergency?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 45 lbs

my dog seems lethargic, is salivating, groaning and just not acting like himself, he wont drink water and im not sure if i should take him somewhere, its 9 at night as well

Hi there, I’m sorry Reynold isn’t feeling well. The symptoms you describe are pretty non- specific and can be attributed to many different problems. However, if he is acting uncomfortable, then I do think having him evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible would be the safest situation. Based on their physical examination findings they may recommend an x-ray or possibly blood work to help define the diagnosis and treatment plan. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon.!!
