My dog's eye is still red after conjunctivitis treatment. What now?

Pet's info: Dog | Husky | Female | unspayed | 7 months and 7 days old | 20 lbs

Over a month ago i took my dog in for conjunctivitis in the R eye. They gave me oral Antiinflammatory for one week and topical antibiotics for 2 weeks. They tested both eyes for scratches and pressure check-all came back normal. The redness decreased but never went away. (Sometimes gets worse) no pain noted. I continue to put what i have left of the drops but it’s pretty much finished. Should i be worried? What should i do? (In the pic you see the inner bottom eyelid is very red and other brown

Bleu has such pretty eyes!! I would recommend a recheck with your vet now that some of the swelling and redness has resolved. There may be something additional going on that needs to be addressed, or perhaps she needs to receive a different type of eye drops. Be sure and ask your veterinarian to take a close look at Bleu’s eyelids-sometimes, especially in young growing dogs, the lower (and occasionally upper) eyelid can roll onwards and irritate the surface of the eye-This is called entropion and can require surgery to correct. I hope you are able to get Bleu’s eye redness resolved soon!
