Poor girl. She may have a urinary tract infection that has been going on for a while so now it is making her ill. Other possible causes of general illness in an older pet are: a closed pyometra (spontaneous infected uterus), or organ malfunction (liver, kidneys, etc). I would highly recommend taking her in to your vet right away for testing (urinalysis +/- bloodwork), to determine what the underlying problem is so that we know how best to treat her. Until you can get her seen you can try feeding her small amounts of boiled plain chicken and rice or slightly warmed cans of baby food to provide her some nutrition. I hope that your pet Poppy feels better soon. Take care.
