Ideal breeding age for cats & how long can females have kittens?

Pet's info: Cat | Himalayan | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 1 month old

I'm planning to bring in home a partner(female) for Muezzā Himalayan 2 yr boy I've a seller and the age of cat is unknown He says its around 2yrs and gave birth to Kitty's only once Kindly look the pictures and have a guess work on age and health Would you suggest me to go for it ? Generally what should be the age of male and female cats for mating and till what age a female can reproduce ?

Beautiful cat! Unfortunately there is no way for me to give you any sort of idea on age or health just by looking at the photos. You would need a vet to do an exam in person. All I can say is that she definitely appears to be an adult (over 1 year of age). As for breeding, it is recommended that females not have a litter until at least 18 months of age although they technically can become pregnant and have a litter as young as 7-8 months old. They can continue to be become pregnant and have litters well into their early teens. Not recommended to do so but it is possible. Whether or not you should 'go for it" is entirely up to you. I cannot tell you anything about her breeding potential with just a photo. Hope this helps. If you have more questions feel free to post again. Best wishes.
