Why is my cockatiel regurgitating food daily after a vet visit?

Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male

My cockatiel is healthy, 90 grams and is a male. he is regurgitating his food alot everyday now, i do not know why. I have taken him to a vet a week ago and she said he is fine. What should i Do? Do i see a avian specialist ?

You need to take him to an avian vet specialist as he us definitely not fine, regurgitation is usually caused by a crop disease, it could be yeast, bacterias or a foreign body. the vet will take a crop and fecal sample to check for an infection first, if he can't find one the next step will be an xray.

    Thanks for reaching out about Jewel and including a photo. Regurgitation can be caused by many problems. Ingested foreign bodies, toxins, metabolic disorders, infections (bacterial, fungal, viral) and other problems are all possible. A veterinary visit is needed to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan, and to provide medications. Good luck.
