Hi, my hamsters for some reason sometimes looks up, stand still and then jump around the tank cage. I have no idea what that means. I have a 120cm tank cage, and 5 female hamsters over there which is okay with each other (1 mother, 1.3 monthes old female siberian hamsters) .Any information / help ? Thanks Ahead!!

This behavior is not necessarily abnormal. Sometimes hamsters get bursts of energy and they jump/run...etc. Make sure to provide a few wheels for them to run in. You can also get the cages that have tube attachments and will allow them to have more areas to run/climb. You can also have the plastic ball that allows them to run safely on the floor. Please post again if you have any further questions.
