Can my aggressive older dog be trained to stop biting strangers?

My dog is six years old and he has always been aggressive with strangers. He has even bit someone years ago. We’re moving to another city soon and I would like to know if he could benefit from receiving any kind of training there. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 6 years and 7 months old | 81 lbs

The saying that old dogs can't learn new tricks is certainly not true.
