My cat's molar fell out. When can she get her teeth professionally cleaned?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 7 years and 3 months old | 10 lbs

How long should you wait to get your pets teeth cleaned if one falls out because we are going to get my cats teeth cleaned with taxes but one of her mollers fell put but she does not seem to be hurting in fact she seems better

Hi and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Sorry to hear about Lily but it sounds like she is better since the tooth fell out. As long as she is eating and drinking without discomfort, I think waiting is fine. Your veterinarian will evaluate all of her remaining teeth and advise you on any extractions that will be needed at the time of the dental. Loose teeth, teeth with gum loss/root exposure or very sensitive teeth may need to be removed. Good luck with Lily. Happy holidays to you and her.
