My 6-month kitten is lethargic, not eating after vet. What to do?

Hi! My little 6 month old kitten has not eaten in 3 days, and has drank little water. She’s pretty lathragic. She was vomiting but that stopped after we took her to the vet. The vet gave her anti nausea medicine and fluids under the skin. We took her there last night, but she is still refusing to eat. She did not have a fever last night and the vet did not feel anything hard in her stomach. We are defeated and are not sure what to do. Is there anything you’d suggest we try? Please.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I am sorry to hear Zoey isn’t feeling well. I recommend taking her back to the vet for diagnostics- blood work and radiographs- and more aggressive treatment. It sounds like testing hasn’t been done yet and the fluids and anti nausea meds haven’t helped. Cats cannot go very many days without eating and forcing them to eat can make things worse. Good luck and kisses to Zoey!
