Can my 10-month puppy with sensitive stomach eat Hill's food?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 10 months and 18 days old | 10.6 lbs

Is hill’s diet for sensitive stomach & skin chicken meal a good kibble for my puppy? She’s a 10 month maltipoo sensitive stomach & has been on royal canin hyrdrolyzed protein 4 food allergies after the trial our vet said we could transition her 2 regular food but to stay away from certain proteins. When she started having a reaction to the hyrdrolyzed protein we just mixed it w hill’s and it was cleared right away. just got a new bag of hill’s for small to toy breeds. Is it okay 2 keep her on it

If Snowball is having normal bowel movements and is not vomiting on the Hill's diet then it is likely fine for her. However, Hill's Sensitive Stomach and Skin is not labeled for use in puppies. I'd suspect Snowball is no longer growing at a puppy rate by 10 months old, but it would still be wise to check in with your veterinarian regarding if she can be placed in this adult food at this time.
