Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. I would recommend changing the diet and considering adding a probiotic to the diet such as Purina Fortiflora. In a recent study, it was shown that almost 55% of GI cases (vomiting / diarrhea ) were related to the diet or the intestinal bacterial content being low. I would consider switching to a different diet and wait at least 4 weeks to see a difference. The probiotic can be found online or at your local pet store. If there is no improvement on the new diet, you may need to do a food trial on a hydrolyzed protein diet to rule out a dietary allergy. If the diet has been ruled out as the cause, I would recommend running Kobe's bloodwork and considering an abdominal ultrasound or x-rays. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
