Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 6 months old
Hi, I noticed my cats been acting out of character recently having become very vocal, aggressive and agitated. He's also been spending a lot more time in the litter box. Today he went to the toilet on my bed and noticed his urine was nearly all blood. Does he need a vet or will it clear up on its own???

Poor Bear! He definitely needs to see a veterinarian right away as this can be a sign of serious bladder issues like cystitis, lower urinary tract disease, bladder stones, or urinary blockage. A urinary blockage is a life threatening emergency so Bear needs to see a veterinarian immediately for treatment. A veterinarian can examine Bear to see if he has a blockage and if necessary pass a urinary catheter and give Bear fluids. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and I hope Bear is feeling better soon!
