My pitbull fog is 1.5 years old and is unspayed. She has bloody mucus coming out of her. Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 80 lbs

They are typically swollen and have a bloody discharge when they are in heat. This can last for about 3 weeks. If she has already been in heat then this is a sign there may be a uterine infection which will require treatment and possibly surgery.
