My dog has a hairless bump on paw. What is it and how to treat?

Poor Kong. This could be an infected area that Kong has been licking, a growth, or it could be where a small foreign object has gotten under his skin like a grass awn. First, you don’t want him to lick it so you can put a cone collar on him if needed to prevent this. You can try putting neosporin on it twice a day but chances are he may need oral antibiotics. You can also give him Benadryl. See link below. If it isn’t healing or gets worse, I would have your vet take a look at him. Your vet will be able to properly clean it and start him on the proper meds to help him feel better. I hope this helps. https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/benadryl/
