Hey I have pit bull terrier female, she been peeing blood for bout half day now ND he stomach swell up Abit on one side, very dehydrated drinking alot of water, throwing up ND constantly peeing, I don't have any money atm would she die from it ND what can we give her to heal her please help?? Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | 80 lbs

Hello, sorry to hear about Thelma. It sounds like she may have potentially a UTI or even vaginitis. Other causes of peeing blood include a tumor within her urinary tract. If indeed a UTI, this can cause quite a bit of discomfort, increased urgency to urinate, and if bleeding continues then perhaps anemia as well. I would recommend having her evaluated as soon as you are able to. There are no over the counter medications you can use to treat a UTI as these frequently need an antibiotic to treat, but you may be able to give her yunnan baiyao to help control bleeding. This is a herbal supplement that for some pets have help control bleeding, it is an over the counter supplement that does not require a prescription. Hope this helps and best of luck.
