What does "MFG by SP" mean on my dog's 2016 rabies certificate?

Hello. I was wondering if anybody would help me figure out about rabies vaccine brand name on my dog's rabies certificate in 2016.it says MFG by SP. Does SP stand for manufacturing company name? If so, was this rabies vaccine approved by USDA in 2016? Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 years and 11 months old | 50 lbs

I am assuming that SP may stand for Schering Plough. I can not think of another manufacturer that would have this abbreviation. However Schering Plough merged with Merck several years ago. They do make a canine rabies vaccination called Novibac. I hope this helps! Thank you for using Pet Coach.
