Why is my cat sneezing after moving to a new home, but seems healthy?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 years and 7 months old | 10 lbs

We just moved into a new house and since then our cat has been constantly sneezing. There is no mucous coming out. Her eyes aren't watery. She's eating, drinking, being her normal self. Any advice would help.

Hello, sorry to hear about Junie. It sounds like she may have an upper respiratory tract infection or perhaps allergies to something new in her environment. Both are typically self limiting and should resolve within 10-14 days. If Junie continue to eat and drink normally and she is otherwise acting like her normal self, then you can continue to monitor her at home. If you note any changes in her appetite or activity then you should have her evaluated by your veterinarian at that time. Hope this helps and best of luck.
