Pet's info: Dog | Husky | Male | neutered | 4 years and 1 month old
So my husky Dakota has seemingly been uninterested in pretty much everything. He used to beg and be vocal and move about. Now all he wants is to lie on his couch, sleep, and I've noticed minor shaking. Is there something wrong?

Hello. I am sorry for your concerns about Dakota. Everything points to a possible infection, possibly viral or bacterial, or he even ingested something toxic or foreign. You are right to be concerned about him. He definitely needs to be thoroughly examined to find the cause of his malaise. I would contact your veterinarian as soon as possible so any possible treatments or medications can be started to hopefully have him feeling better soon. Thank you.

What you're describing is a bit concerning. It could just be Dakota reaching social maturity and being calmer, but the shaking/tremors are not normal. The increased resting could also be abnormal if it was a big or sudden change. This could be a metabolic issue, pain, or even a neurologic problem. I would recommend a vet visit in the next week or so for a full exam and possible bloodwork. Good luck!
