My dog has red spots, scabs, dry nose, and is lethargic. What's wrong?

My dog has had red circle like spots above his private part on the side and under his armpit. A couple days ago I noticed they had scabbed up with a thin flakey skin . Now today he's got a dry nose and seems a little out of the ordinary. Not as energetic and playful as he normally is. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered

It sounds like it could be a skin infection. I would recommend calling your veterinarian and scheduling an appointment. They will be able to dispense oral antibiotics and/or a medicated shampoo to help resolve these spots. If you cannot get in today then I would recommend an elizabethan collar so he does not lick at the areas and make them worse.
